About Us
We are creating a pioneering Model Organic Farm spanning 100 acres in Viramgam, Ahmedabad, conveniently located just 50 km from the city. This farm will stand out as one of the rare Biodynamic model farms in the country, having already empowered thousands of farmers across India and sharing knowledge with individuals worldwide.
We have a singular goal.
To Provide The Highest Quality Organic Products and Services.
Farmers in India primarily rely on agriculture and dairy for their livelihoods. While the Hare Krishna Movement in Ahmedabad is working to improve the agricultural sector by teaching best practices in organic and natural farming, we now aim to assist rural India in tapping into the potential of indigenous cattle.
Indigenous cattle breeds are highly disease-resistant, require low maintenance, and are beneficial for agriculture, making them essential to farmers’ lives. However, recent competition from automated dairy industries and the influx of adulterated milk and milk products in the market have made it difficult for simple farmers in India to keep up.
Hence Hare Krishna Movement has envisioned the project to preserve, protect and educate farmers about different varieties of Indigenous cattle by establishing a Goshala (Cattle Farm) and inspire urban new generation to have better connect with nature and its creation. This project is aimed at showcasing self-sustainability of cattle farms and not aiming at producing milk. That proves the significant role of cattle in chemical-free farming and its sustainability.
Our Mission
Organic farming embodies a holistic approach to farm management, striving to establish a food production system that is sustainable from social, environmental, and economic perspectives. Specifically, it focuses on nurturing the agro-ecosystem instead of depending on external inputs like pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, additives, and genetically modified organisms.
The organization has envisioned an extensive and multifaceted initiative in Viramgam, Ahmedabad district. This ambitious undertaking encompasses various societal needs, including a free school with residential facilities and a kitchen designed to provide mid-day meals for 5,000 children daily. It aims to foster the cultural and spiritual growth of the community. A significant feature of this project is a state-of-the-art goshala, which will permanently accommodate 100 cows in its first phase, alongside an organic farming area spanning 150 acres, dedicated to training and developing farmers in sustainable agricultural practices.
Nurtured with care on our farm
This farm project you should consider very important. The idea is that people can be self sufficient and raise their own foodstuffs and have sufficient milk to save time and chant Hare Krishna.
